Who We Are

Early Entrepreneurs is a mentorship-based educational program that teaches girls in elementary and middle school the fundamentals of starting a business. Through a series of hands-on sessions led by entrepreneurial college student mentors, participants learn core concepts like marketing, product development, and finance—culminating in a final pitch presentation that brings their business ideas to life.

Become A Community Partner

Florine is a student at Cornell University’s Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, where she studies Finance and Entrepreneurship. Motivated by the fact that women-founded startups receive just two percent of venture capital funding, she founded Early Entrepreneurs in 2020 and has since led its collegiate expansion across the country. Florine is passionate about giving women a voice in male-dominated fields and enjoys spending time with family, trying new foods, and taking hot pilates classes.

Finella became inspired by the female entrepreneurs she encountered during her work as an analyst in the Consumer Retail Investment Banking group at Goldman Sachs, where she worked on executing M&A and IPO transactions. She is currently a Private Equity Associate at the Carlyle Group and graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Finella enjoys traveling, fitness classes, and is passionate about the beauty and personal care space.

Nicole is a student at Georgetown University, where she is studying Finance and Management. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, she is passionate about sustainability and social impact. In her free time, Nicole enjoys hiking, baking, and trying new coffee shops.

Skylar is a student at Cornell University, where she is studying Industrial and Labor Relations. Originally from Long Island, New York, she is passionate about the intersection between business and law. Skylar enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with her friends.

Simona Vigodner

Early Entrepreneur Board Members

Simona is an avid proponent of entrepuernship, particularly in the technology sector. She is currently a Private Equity Associate at KKR on the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications team. Previously, she was an Investment Banking Analyst in Morgan Stanley's M&A group. Simona graduated summa cum laude from the Jerome Fisher M&T Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Simona enjoys salsa and ballroom dancing, writing short stories, and going on spontaneous travel adventures.
